[gmat] prepare overall guide

For GMAT, there 3 steps in GMAT preparation.

A. Start with BEGIN

1. install PP3 and finish at least one full test set (total are 2, you can do another one after 3~4 weeks later)
2. read methods post
3. read forum.chasedream.com about GMAT part(i.e. GMAT????? http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=34&ID=74320&page=1 or GMAT????http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=34&ID=105271&page=1)
(optional, i just read 4~5 posts)

B. Preparation with PREPARE

There are 5 parts, cover GMAT 4 area and Official Guide (OG), the most important material!!
1. For "Math, Problem Solving & Dta Sufficiency"
1.1 Last 100 problems in each section of OG
1.2 Feifei Math 1-7 (optional, i just finish 60%)

2. For "Critical Reasoning, CR"
2.1 Every one in OG, two times at least
2.2 Several posts about methods
2.3 Feifei 135 (optional, i just finish 50%)

3. For "Sentence Correction, SC"
3.1 Every one in OG, Five times at least. Understand WHY other chioces are wrong
3.2 go through summarize posts/files, then come up your own one

4. For "Reading Comprehension, RC"
4.1 Every one in OG
4.2 Several posts about methods
4.3 Vocabulary, you only need to know the meaning during reading

5 OG (Very useful)

C. End with END

You should start END section at least 4 weeks before exam, give you enough time to finish following
1. For "Analytical Writing Assessment, AWA"
1.1 Read lily's and my template, come out yours
1.2 Use awasim write 5 writing each (you can combine it with GWD &TS mock exam)
1.3 Read some awa (optional, i read around 30)

2. For "real GMAT question"
2.1 20 set of TRUE GMAT
GWD 13 and TS 6 are very very very useful to prepare for the final day. You will meet the SAME question in the real exam, more or less. Don't try you luck, but use them do the mock exam everyday.
2.2 most recent JJ
if you really really have time, most recent JJ can be found in the very top posts in http://forum.chasedream.com/index.asp?boardid=22

Last words. The materials were extract from tons of info in GMAT??????http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=33&ID=102119&page=1. Don't pay a shit for other materials like ???, just finish 100% of this list. This method was used by two people to prepare GMAT while working in full time. Their lowest GMAT score was 750 !!
